This role involves managing a sophisticated hybrid environment that includes Pure Storage for high-performance workloads, NetApp for versatile file services and enterprise storage, and Rubrik for modern, policy-driven data protection and cyber resilience.

**Job Summary**

The Senior Storage Administrator provides coordination, planning, design, installation, maintenance and support for enterprise level storage systems and backup systems, including system software, hardware and utilities. Works closely with management for project control, proposals of hardware purchases, issue remediation and staff development.

Document and present storage criteria and specifications for system modification and the criteria for testing of new equipment and specifications.

Support network tests to validate interoperability changes on the operational network and report and provide mitigation plans on any findings.

Utilization of designated tools to monitor storage system performance, as well as gather historical records of this performance to create effective storage subsystem performance presentations. This data will be used to present factual statistical data to represent perceived performance issues.

Adjust all performance settings of individual storage appliances, software, data replication, snapshots, and backup configurations in order to optimize storage. Optimize storage performance tools, and recommend corrective actions to any real and perceived performance problems.

Collaborate and lead team members to derive a collectively agreed upon course of action while informing appropriate leadership.

**Qualifications**

Bachelor’s Degree in technology related field required.

Four years of experience in technology related field.

Must have significant experience in information systems including operating system administration, storage management, programming and scripting, database management, data communications, TCP/IP, and backup architecture and procedures.
