Join our team as we present to each and every patient as the face of Wythe County Community Hospital. Patient Experience starts with us. In our department, we have several areas of registration, billing, central scheduling and Pre surgical testing. With so many diverse positions, we offer a great opportunity to exercise your fullest potential in your administrative skill sets. We are highly motivated to meet patient expectation a the start of their visit and finish their visit in with our Revenue cycle team. With our flexible work schedule, you can continue education or simply get your foot in the door in healthcare.
*How you’ll contribute*
A Registrar who excels in this role:
·Performs receptionist, registration, and clerical duties associated with direct and scheduled patient admissions. Identifies and refers patients who might have financial difficulty.

*What we’re looking for*Applicants should haveHigh school diploma or equivalent required, may be substituted year for year with directly related experience:
· Knowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred
· Basic telephone skills and etiquette
· Proficient in keyboarding and Microsoft Office products
· Ability to accept on-call assignments as needed
