*How you’ll contribute *
A Pulmonary Rehab Therapist who excels in this role:
* Implements and evaluates specialized care for a selected group of pulmonary patients with particular focus on the rehabilitative aspects of care.
· Educates the patient and family about the patient’s condition and provides information about community support groups and other resources. Provides education and information to other disciplines as needed.
· Independently performs the admission of patients into program to include referral process and insurance preauthorization.
· Independently admits client (new and through other clinical programs) and progresses the client’s exercise tolerance along established department and ACSM guidelines.

*What we’re looking for *
Applicants should have a current Virginia state license as a Respiratory Therapist.
* Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification is required.
* 2 years’ recent experience in a cardiopulmonary clinical area is required.
