Overview
As supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice for Medical/Surgical. Reports to: Director Medical/Surgical B2 and A4
Minimum Education Graduate of a Program in Discipline (LPN) – Required Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Computer proficiency required. Certifications: BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) – Required to be current upon hire Licenses: State of Tennessee or Multi-State LPN licensure – Required. Proof of certification in IV therapy as mandated by the State of TN (ref: Chapter 1000-02 – .15 LPN Scope of Practice) – Preferred
