*How you’ll contribute*
-A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who excels in this role:
-Maintain harmonious relationships with nursing personnel, medical staff, hospital administration, and all hospital departments
-Is familiar with and follows HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
-Maintains record keeping of appointments, orders, reports, films, and requisitions
-May be exposed to bad weather when escorting a discharged patient to their vehicle
-Demonstrates excellent customer service through his/her attitude and actions, consistent with the standards contained in the Vision, Mission, and Values of the organization

*What we’re looking for: *The Licensed Practical Nurse performs a variety of functions to include the transportation of patients to and from various sections of the Diagnostic Imaging department in a safe and orderly manner. They are responsible for administering nursing care, medications and assisting physicians with procedures and monitoring as designated by the supervising or ordering physician. In addition, other primary responsibilities include processing of images, clerical functions, and assisting with the positioning of patients during diagnostic imaging procedures.
Additional requirements include:
Graduation from a school of nursing in practical nursing required
Current VA LPN license required
BLS required
