*How you’ll contribute*
A Admin Assistant who excels in this role:Performs a variety of duties to support administration of the assigned clinic
-Receives, screens, and routes visitors and telephone calls.
-Responds to, escalates, and follows up on inquiries and problems as appropriate.
-Maintains files and office equipment
-Orders and stocks supplies.
-Maintains a patient treatment schedule consistent with the needs of the clinic.
-Schedules, receives and directs patient and visitors to the appropriate areas or clinic personnel.Delete
-Answers switchboard calls to relay incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls.

-Ensures superbills are filled out and ready before the day begins or as efficiently as possible

-Makes copies of the day’s schedule, posts it, and updates it throughout the day as needed.

-Collects information from patients, enters patient information into electronic medical record, prepares new file folder.
-Researches medical records and financial records to determine if patient has been to the office before.

-Captures charges utilizing chart document using CPT, ICD-10 and HSCPS resources.
– Follows best practices as outlined in the Revenue Cycle Guidelines published by the HSC.

-Address and correct any claim errors identified/assigned by CBO billing staff.

-Performs housekeeping duties of assigned area by routine and periodic cleaning.
-Maintains order and cleanliness through the clinic

*What we’re looking for* Applicants should have aHigh school diploma or equivalent Required or may be substituted by three years of directly related experience. Additional requirements include:
· Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, neurology and medical terminology preferred.
· Significant working knowledge of computers, telephones, copier and fax machines.
·Experience with electronic medical records is strongly preferred
