WCCH ER is a 14 bed ER with a Fast Track area to accommodate up to 8 patients. We are Certified as a Stroke Ready Facility with The Joint Commission. The ER nurse patient ratio is 1:4. The ER is staffed with Nurse Techs, Monitor Techs, and RNs.
We believe in a work life balance with our employees while providing our community the care they need. Our department offers preferred scheduling to our employees. We offer 3 X 12 hour shift, Day, Night and Mid-shifts with the requirement of rotating weekends.

A Nursing – Coordinator who excels in this role:
* Oversee the activities of the ER and assigned staff during scheduled shifts
* Provide patient care.
* Enhance department workflow.
* Provide leadership at the point of care.
* Ability to understand, communicate and react effectively to patient and family needs.

*What we’re looking for*Applicants should have a current state RN license or compact licensure
Additional requirements include:
* Basic Life Support certification is required at hire.
* ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
* Three to five years’ experience as a staff nurse within ER department.
* CEN preferred
* Handle with care within one year of date of hire.
* Knowledge of medical terminology required.
* Knowledge of MedHost electronic health records strongly preferred.
